"I think either the scent has changed or both containers purchased were labeled incorrectly. It didn’t smell like the Narcissist I’ve always loved. In addition, my local store was closed unexpectedly. It’s not really worth the hour drive to scent the dryer balls and buy more detergent if it’s not the scent I like anymore."

When I was in the store, another customer complained of the same problem with her soap and brought it in to be rescented. My mom's soap, purchased the same day, also is completely devoid of scent. "Ive heard for years about how good this soap is. Well, I finally tried Narcissist and I'd say its way too hyped up. The smell isnt very strong, doesnt really attatch to the clothes once they're washed and dried. I even bought the "scent beads" to further the longevity of the smell. It didn't help. Also, in reference to the "scent beads", they have the weirdest texture. They are clumped together and feel almost like their melting all the time. I dont know, I just wasn't impressed. Especially for the price point vs the amount you actually get. . . I could see it being a higher price for a smaller amount if the smell was outrageously good and clung to the clothes after they dried, but thats not the case. I was highly disappointed in this laundry soap and "scent beads" duo."
